Everyone took a trip to the Philadelphia Zoo today!
Asher playing on a statue of baby bears. We think he fits in perfectly.
A giant turtle bigger than Asher.
Asher looks pretty happy considering there's an alligator waiting to eat him about 10 feet away.
This lion came VERY close to the window to look at Asher. We're pretty sure she was looking for a snack.
Asher and Abba having fun watching the lions.
Asher met a goat for the first time! After his crawl around the petting zoo, he was the dirtiest baby there. Ima says that means he had the most fun.

"Reading" to Asher
Everyone tells new parents that reading to your child often will make him love reading. Our family is evidence that it's NOT TRUE. Watch what Asher does while Abba tries to read to him from "Where the Sidewalk Ends."

Abba graduated!
Abba graduated from Law School today! We are all very proud.
Ashi waiting impatiently for Abba's name to be called.
What is that funny hat you are wearing, Abba?

Cruising with his friends
Asher decided to lend his old stroller to all of his friends since he's not using it anymore. They ride and he drives. Check out everyone on the move, including Elmo, the Learning Puppy, my pal Al, and Brutus the Buckeye...

Asher's first Mother's Day card to Ima
This is all Ima wanted for Mother's Day! Asher made this card all by himself at school today. It's amazing how neat his handwriting is at only 10 months - what a little genius.

"Asher haBalash haPrati" (Asher, P.I.)
When Asher was born, Abba bought a series of books to read to him in Hebrew called "Yotam haBalash haPrati" ("Yotam, Private Investigator"), about a kid who solves mysteries. "Yotam" quickly got changed to "Asher" when we were reading the books.
Abba has been slacking on the reading lately because of exams, so Asher decided to take matters into his own hands yesterday. Of course, he needed a Hebrew-English dictionary to get through the pages.
Here is Asher doing some investigating work of his own. Notice his new favorite thing, right up there with wheels - doors. Exciting stuff.
