What happens when little boys throw temper tantrums before naps?

Pancakes and Eggs + Asher "helps" with the laundry

Ashi had eggs and blueberry pancakes for breafast right along with Abba and Ima. Obviously, playing with the food is much more fun than actually eating it.


Asher "helped" with the laundry this morning by messing up Abba's piles of clothes and chewing on pant drawstrings.

Sick little boy + Ashi in the snow

Asher has been a sick little boy this weekend. He's very congested and has refused to take naps unless they are taking place on my chest. This has made for a very sweet, but very sweaty/snotty, weekend together. (Notice the roll of toilet paper under my arm - we ran out of kleenex about a week ago.)

Despite his cold, we didn't want to miss the chance to get a picture of Ashi in the snow during his first winter. Since this past Friday is the only big snow we're planning to have for the season, we figured, hey, carpe diem. He was only out for a few minutes.

Asher Loves Noodles

We thought he couldn't self-feed, but it turns out he just never WANTED to self-feed. Then, we gave him food he liked - chicken noodles.
